I've been away for the weekend, and I just read your reply to my Friday question about chess engines and backward analysis of games. I have indeed been considering Hiarcs 7.32 as my next purchase for this purpose, and your info just about clinches it. (It certainly makes sense for the engine to keep its eval in the hash table when doing backward game analysis.) Thanks, Mark
