They have just shown general benchmarks. On the other hand, the K6 generation didn't *suffer* from using the bsr/bsf instructions. It didn't gain anything either, but... An intelligent(?) guess would be that the K7/Athlon would be at least as efficient as the K6 for these instructions, meaning neutral or better performance wise. Bo Persson bop@malmo.mail.telia.com
