Especially when you are added it to a base like 2.6 mil games. Opening, indexing, etc for the large base cost much time. I sometimes use this method when I receive lot's of CBH files but at first I create a new base then add all files to this new created base and at last copy the newbase to the large base. concatenating pgn files can be done easily with: copy a.pgn + b.pgn + c.pgn total.pgn The best after you created total.pgn is to convert this base to CBF with another utility than CB7 because lately I noticed CB7 screws up sometimes 4 digit year numbers of PGN files to 2 digits or even 1 digit, like 17 of 7. If someone is interested in the PGN I can dig trough my files and find it. Steve: When comes a new update(bugfix) for CB7? Kind regards, Michel Langeveld
