I really think that we have to accept a few human differences. Some people seem to like the "enthusiasm" shown by those who use exclams and caps. I used to be a proofreader, and I was very strict, but ultimately the only thing that mattered was communication - - the clarity of the message. What would have happened to James Joyce's novel "Ulysses" if he had been restricted to the limits of conventional grammar and style? I have never cared one way or another about exclams and caps (or he/she/it); the only thing that bugs me is the use of the work "LOOK", which I find annoyingly aggressive, but nobody else has mentioned it, so I assume it's just my personal reaction. If the posting is on-topic, non-insulting, non-profane, and CLEAR (sorry for the caps), then the style should not matter. IMO. Cheers :-) Mark
