It has been a bit to aggressive and always trying to 'start something'. It still does, but not at the expense of wrecking the position totally. Roman's 'comment' during the van Wely match (a whisper) was "Crafty seems more mature now than ever before..." as it was karpov-like squeezing van Wely in another game, rather than going for flamboyant moves that might be unsound/weakening. Whether that is true or not remains to be seen, but it does appear to be playing better of late... It has been > 3100 for a month or more...
