I think it's a good explanation (oh my, where's that all-in manual) but I observe the following. If a move is highlighted red, the engine to move does not come to that move if I rerun analysis if the game is over. If e.g. in a game between Hiarcs and Crafty Hiarcs played xx...Nb6 and you analyse it afterwards you will see that Hiarcs does not consider this move anyhow, or at least not as the best - even if the time allotted is roughly the same as in the game.
