Crafty 16.12, on a P166 or thereabouts, rather quickly likes ...Qb8
(the point obviously being that if Bxa8 then ...Nc4). After about
7 minutes of thought and 12 million nodes, it's at depth 12 and
its opinions haven't changed for ages. PV is
...Qb8; Ndb5 Nc4; Qd3 Nxe3; Qxe3 Qxb7; Nxd6 Qc7; e5 Nh5; Kb1
with an eval of about -2.1.
I like to do a few iterations of "make first move on PV, and then
wait for the search to get as deep from the new position as it was
in the old one"; after playing ...Qb8; Ndb5 Nc4; Qd3 its PV begins
...Nxe3; Qxe3 Qxb7; Nxd6 Qa7; Qxa7 Rxa7; Nc4 Bc6; Ne5 Be8; ...
and its eval is now at about -2.0.

("-2" means "Black is about 2 pawns better".)

Just for comparison, after ...Qb8; Bxa8 Nc4 and 15 minutes' thought
Crafty thinks Black is about 3.1 pawns up, with PV
Nxa4 Nxd2; Rxd2 Qxa8; Nc3 Rb8; Bg5 Qb7; b3 Nh5; Kb1 Ng3.
