On CB German site you can download the Winboard adapter for the CB7 engine folder. And there are instructions for setup of Winboard engine, the last of which is to create a *.init file. How is that done?? There are some "download ready setups" and I successfully installed Gromit 2.0, but having problems with GNUChess (may have a bug in it?). At any rate the key appears to be have Winboard ready program. I note on the GambitSoft site with all the freeware chess programs a number of them are indicated to be Winboard ready. It seems CB is attempting to make it easy to install any Winboard ready program, as CB states, "ready made .init files for all engines available here soon" Regards, Chris
