Otherwise, >output will be held until the internal buffer is full. > >Ian Osgood Ian i've tried but it still doesn't work; FlushFileBuffers returns ERROR_INVALID_HANDLE, i've check in MSDN and it says that the error is due to the fact that WriteFile is already an unbuffered function so doesn't need FlushFileBuffers...
