small softwares of chess like one that comes with boranld c++(v5) for windows don't have much capabilities to show variations in chessmaster4000 CM5000 etc. have capability to make your opponents personality as you wish. for example I made a personality with my name I made it defending personality now when I play with that personality 'It' tries to avoid exchanges and tries to be defensive thanks Umar
