Well, I'm not directly involved, but note that the primary development
platform for Crafty is Linux. Crafty is a strong program, and its author
is a pretty big name in chess software.

If something's written strictly in ANSI C then it will work as happily
under Linux as anywhere else. I'm not an expert on Tk or any other
toolkit, so I can't comment on that.

Certainly.
