Steve, thank you for your previous help with trying to get my Aptiva 530 to run Hiarcs 7.32. I have tried everything you suggested and some you have not to no avail. I have detrimined that its not just Chessbase software as I have the same problem with Rebel 10 and Chessmaster 4000. You may be right about AMD processors but I have read posts from people playing games on other AMD machines so I think that there is a problem between the AMD 475 processor and the Rage Pro Turbo graphics Board. I've contacted IBM and they're looking into it so maybe someday I'll be able to play chess. Thanks again.
