I believe that 2000 players can beat kasparov when kasparov play without a queen at tournament time control but at blitz kasparov has good chances to win. I believe that queen is equal more then 600 points handicap at high levels and less than 500 points handicap at low levels. You cannot learn from your games with Fritz about the value of queen because It is possible that Fritz did not know how to play against weak players without a queen and I believe that a grandmaster has better chances. I guess that Fritz simply played the move that it considered best and not the move that will cause you the biggest practical problems. Uri
