My favorite is my own. :)
As for freeware programs, I love the way Crafty plays in closed positions with
lots of minor pieces; really spectacular. Anmon and GNUchess also have very fun
to watch aggressive styles.

I hate the way EXchess plays. It always tries to steer the game into R+P endings
where my program gets trounced.
