Fernando,

I think I could have predicted a problem here.

Your moderation stance and Bruce's are almost polar opposites (mine appears to
be somewhere in between).

And, a large number of people liked your stance and a large number of people
liked Bruce's (I was surprised by one person who wrote he was going to vote for
the two of you since your stance's were so similar when it was obvious that your
stances were not).

However, when you have two moderators who basically disagree on how to moderate,
there is going to be problems. Bottom line.

I respect your decision to be a gentleman and bow out. It doesn't help the forum
in general if we have major disagreements on how to moderate.

With respect to your post, I thought it was inappropriate for this forum. I
would not have immediately deleted it as Bruce did, but I would have deleted the
entire thread if it blew up into a large issue. And although I would not have
deleted it, I thought it perfectly appropriate for Bruce to do so. I do not
think that he stepped out of bounds as the post was seriously off topic and
potentially offensive to some (although humorous).

I am glad you are going to stick around. It's nice to have us robots reminded
that there are real people out there too.

KarinsDad :)
