I found the same thing, when matching my program against EXChess. EXChess has been the main sparring partner for my program for some months last year, and most of the games ended in Pawn endgames - many more than against other programs. But this helped me a lot to improve my passed pawn code :)) Thank you! ;-) Heiko.
