The SSDF doesn't measure their strength difference very well in this instance.
The Sapphire I played weaker opposition, since it was around earlier, which
biases the results.  Neither of these handhelds has had much recent testing on
the SSDF list.

I can't personally speak for the Sapphire I, but my Sapphire II maintains a
blitz rating between 2000-2200 on FICS.  I don't know whether there is any
correlation between FICS ratings and USCF ratings.  I don't think that the
SapphireII/DiamondII (same hardware and program) were ever CRA rated by the
USCF.
