  I don't know if there is any substantial programming difference, but Windows
behaviour is far different from MSDOS's, so you can expect different behaviours
from both programs is any situation.
  I have an ELO list with all my programs, and to me they count as two different
programs (Hiarcs 7.32 ELO is a little higher than Hiarcs 7.01, but not
significative because of the few games played).
