Subject: Autoplayer232 and program cheating

On the Rebel web site there is an article attributed to a new magazine named
Chessbits concerning the Auto232 player and various programs taking advantage of
it to force their opponents to lose. There are very specific examples of this
given for Fritz, Nimzo, etc. (Chessbase).

I'm wondering if anyone here has experienced "strange anomalies" using Auto232.
I believe the programmer who developed it is the same person who authored Nimzo
(Chrilly Donninger), in which case he does have a connection to Chessbase.
However, I won't suggest any "monkey play", especially since I haven't checked
it out myself yet. But this is what I'm doing now. I have two identical AMD K6-2
350 computers and am intending to order an Auto232 soon (I believe they are only
available from GambitSoft - is that true Steve?). So I was wondering if anyone
has noticed any oddities while using it such as what Chessbits suggests. The
examples are very serious in my opinion.

I had heard that the software source was publicly available in which case we
could see for ourselves, but I don't know where from.
