I would suggest that everyone read Amir Ban's post on this controversy. It goes to the heart of this debate better than any I have read. This is not really about deleting just some dirty joke post but rather it is about a proper, cohesive, proceedure for the moderators to moderate themselves. BY their own admission they failed to get together and work this out to their own satisfaction and as a result we have this fiasco. Now I know that you can't please everyone and it is truly an impossible job you guys have but for heavens's sake ( I hope this is not offending anyone) surely you could have at least worked this damn thing out ( moderating yourselfs) before it came to this. It is about the future of this club and it will only return again and again unless this issue is finally put to rest with some hard work and common sense. I would suggest a pause, deep breath and a laying aside the personal attacks and lets address the larger question that is before us. ......the future of the CCC. I know that tempers are short now but if we really give a damn about this club NOW is the time lay all that is personal aside and lets see what we can do working together to the benifit of this club and the game we all love so well. In the heat of this controversy we have all said things that were probably better left unsaid....for myself if I have offended anyone I would hope that you would accept my apology. TP
