It's been brought up by the owner of the BBS whether more general chess topics should be allowed. I think anything chess related would be fine, it would certainly be good for his business. That's a big decision though since the traffic volume of computer-specific chess might be drowned by general chess questions. Or perhaps a second BBS would be best. One where you get shot for even THINKING about posting something not related strongly to computer chess, another for general chess discussion. >4) "Merry Christmas" (assuming that it's approximately December 25th). Maybe a couple by the regular posters, not by every swinging you know what who just reads the board. >5) "Is the warp drive in Star Trek feasible? How might such a warp drive work?" Of course not. >6) "Is Pamela Anderson Lee more appealing with or without the implants?" If you can post before and after pictures, then yes, otherwise no. ;) >7) "Does anyone know what Bobby Fischer is up to?" Sure. Fischer's brain implosion of late is fairly entertaining anyway. Kasparov will claim to be an alien soon.
