Right, it might be caused by the autoplayer or it might be caused by a bug in the engine making the blunder. The fact that it couldn't be reproduced doesn't prove a huge amount - it is possible that the engine has some sort of bug that causes corruption of internal data structures after a particular series of events. I've had these bugs before, and they are insanely hard to reproduce. The fact that both of these blunders happened against fritz is a more telling point. But, perhaps similar blunders happened against other programs?
