Dear Peter: It seems to me that our disagreement is just a question of degree. I have never sustained the idea to transform this place in a free-for-all kind of site; I know very well which is the purpose of it and also know that most of people here want that to be preserved: my point is that, granted that, some room should be left to casual, sporadic off topic material. It is not truth, Peter, that in any kind of meeting, even the most serious one -and this is no that serious after all: computer chess is not the core of christian civilizatin- some room is left for other kind of intercourse? I feel that if you are surrouned by friends, as I believed I was here, you can share a joke or anything else with them from time to time and that also is not a problem if that joje or off topic thing cause some answers. That is the kind of things that give life to a meeting, besides the main goal. If you have read my joke you had seen how innocent and funny was and how unfair has been the outcries of some too much unflexible people. But that does not matter now; I resigned, I still am here as a member and better we forget this mess. By the way, I downloaded your Lamshop 6,9 and I prepare myself to test it againts my chess acumen. I will tell later. Cheers Fernando
