Did you notice how many people here (and CCC charter itself) stress out 'on topic' keyword and try to protect sort of integrity of the place? This is from bad experience(s) with signal/noise ratio decrease all over internet. I (and many others here) found places for casual chat/joking/ etc on chess servers - and even there peolpe guard integrity of channels devoted to certain subjects. And I am afraid even there that joke of yours would not be welcomed in 'public communication' like, for instance, shouts/tells on ICC/FICS, while most would find it ok in private tells. Some people in America call it 'political correctness', some 'internal censorship', some dislike it but learned to obey the rules just to fit. Somehow sad news is that it's probably the simplest way for multicultural society as on internet to avoid (unnecessary) trouble and misunderstanding of intentions. -regards- Andrew btw...
