CM6k won't even give me a "next best", or variations while playing a game. Look at the next bests in Rebel 10, look at "correspondance Analysis" in Fritz GUI. Look at the "overnight analysis" ed is promising in 10.5. CM plays very strong tactical chess, but CM's GUI has hardly improved since CM4000. I set my Hiarcs (Fritz GUI)overnight to examine all single moves from a position, within 100% pawn, and one reply, at a depth of (say) 11ply, then spend the rest of the night thinking deep to find what it thinks is best. Over breakfast I've got heaps of info (even printable) to wade through. CM will not provide this type of o'nite analysis. > >This is an old story the pros and cons of chessmaster.
