Fortress-Welcome-Tournament Last night my k6-300 played an Fortress-Welcome-Tournament. 10m/Game, Fritz-Engine, self-cooked GM-Book (very less moves) Fortress-Welcome 1999 1 2 3 4 1 gromit 2.20 ********** 1011 1½01 ½111 9.0/12 2 patzer 3.01 0100 ********** 10½1 1111 7.5/12 3 Fortress 1.6.1 0½10 01½0 ********** 1½0½ 5.0/12 4 ssechess202 ½000 0000 0½1½ ********** 2.5/12 Remarks: 1. Despite Gromit doesn´t like blitz he was favorite here and played like this. 2. No blitzer, too, Patzer very often shows an excellent endgame. 3. Fortress still has a time-allocation problem under fritz, without manual estimation of time-losses by a very friendly supervisor his result wouldn´t be as good as shown here. 4. Not very much to declare for SSE-Chess here - the competitors are to strong. Originally I wanted to play with aransan 5.2, too. Version 5.1 is working quite fine with fritz, but 5.2 always crashes when it comes to the first move?! "Error by Division" as shown below - may be an helpful advice for John?!
