Gary, I almost hate to be the one that says Winboard again, but here it goes, if you get the Winboard interface it's probably the ideal interface for playing Chess on the internet Chess servers. I haven't done THAT yet myself because it does not interest me, I use it to interface Chess programs on my computer. But you can download Winboard at this site: http://www.research.digital.com/SRC/personal/Tim_Mann/chess.html and there's allot of people here at CCC who can help get it set up to play games on the internet and do many other things.
