Hi CCC This is just my impression, I am not claiming to have any facts to back it up, perhaps someone could shed some information on this topic, It appears to me that computers are not doing to much better against humans now than they did on pentium 90 machines. It is clear that in computer vs computer games processor speed plays a very large role, against humans I don't think this is as true. For example Back in "84" pentium 90 genius 3 was beating supergrandmasters at game\30 on a regular basis, Now that we have pentium 500 the computers seem to be doing slightly better. Genius 3 on pentium 500 would no doubt slaughter Genius 3 on a pent 90, but against humans we may see only a 20-30 pt difference if that? I am nuts? opinions welcome.
