I have been thinking a long time about Deflection since I hope the program will
be able to instigate that concept. But the name is just not thrilling.

Tempo is kind of interesting and so is Skewer. I'll have to keep these in mind.
I especially like Skewer (although it reminds me of my backyard barbecue).

The problem with the names of ancient players is that even a lot of people in
the chess community do not really remember them (unless there is a variation
named after them). I kinda like El Greco.

Zugzwang is already taken (I like that name a lot).

Is En Prise taken?

Anything with Control in it is a little too strong.

And I think that either a single word or two small words is best. Thanks for the
Alphabetical approach (you forgot XRay).
