I think the next reasonable target, after the 5-man databases, is databases with 6 men two of which are opposite-colored pawns on the same file. You don't need any other 6-man databases to compute them (because the pawns block each other from promoting without at least one capture) and they should only be around 3 times as big as the corresponding 5-man databases.
