Hi
30.07.99. After setting Chess Tal in complete accordance with Thorsten's advice,
here is what I have got:
CM 6666test - Chess Tal II 2-0
One more game was a dynamic draw:
CM 6666test - Fritz 5.32 0.5-0.5
29.07.99. Here is an information provided by Chess System Tal's team member
Thorsten Czub regarding his new Style and program versions:
"This style does only work for version 2.03 you can download at
Oxford-softworks. The style that can be downloaded there is NOT my latest style.
Also we have found out that the cstal2-engine in version 2.5 is broken !!!!!! So
please do not use cstal 2.5 for testing purposes of the cstal2 engine, do your
testing with 2.03 and use 2.5 only to show possible engine-concept."

Note: Chess Tal was not lucky with opening this time. In both games he got
disadvantage. For me it looks that CSTal's book is huge, but not well optimized.
Tal has to make misakes at least once. :-)
Inspite of Shep's prediction that CM6666test will probably be not inpressive on
slower computers and at faster controls, it still have made a good start in 99
Summer Tournament. 2.5 of 3.
