That's why I said I could be talking out of my hat since I vaguely recalled that
Hirarcs was a slow searcher and of course, that would blow the numbers away. On
the other hand, Shep mentioned that it should do about 50 KNPS or more on
certain systems, so depending on the hardware and on if the original position
(and/or alot of it's descendants) averaged somewhat below 40 moves per position
(say about 32 or so), it is still possible to get these types of results. But
again, maybe a Hirarcs expert should let us know.
