Here you have what other top programmes evaluate:

Once solved some ‘technical’ problems I have got with my computers, here you
have the evaluation of eleven top chess programmes to our current position,
working in four Pentiums for around 10 hours. All the evaluations have been
stated from white perspective, so that all + means advantage for white and –
advantage for black. The main possibilities for black are:

A) 21... Rh8 recommended by Junior 5, Genius 6, Wchess 2000, Zarkov 5,
ChessMaster 6000 and Rebel 10. (6 votes)

B) 21 ... Ra4 recommended by Shredder 3, Hiarcs 7.32 and Fritz 5.32 (3
votes)

C) 21 ... Qb2 Crafty’s choice (1 vote) and

D) 21 ... f4 selected by Nimzo 2000 (1 vote).

In order to concentrate efforts in the better lines, I will not take in
consideration C) and D).

Victor, you gave more time to Hiarcs, so that your evaluation is obviously more
reliable than mine. Anyway, I have posted here the results I have obtained.

You will see that with the only exception of Fritz, all the programmes evaluate
the current position from a slight advantage for White (+0,25 to +0,75) to a
white's advantage (+0,75 to +1,25).

Despite the 'almost' unanimity of the programmes to choos 21 ... Rh8, I
personaly prefer 21 ... Ra4 following Shredder's, Fritz's and Irina's
recommendations. ;-)

Tom.
