  I think the main point is what is the eval of first move, not only the
difference with second. I mean, if eval of first move is about 0, and second is
-3, you are probably recapturing (or avoiding hanging a piece), so you can
safely make the move.
  But if first move is +3 and second is 0, then you are taking a piece, so you
must be careful about opponent's sacrifices.
