The Marshall Chess Club is only a few blocks from Washington Square. Go south on 5th Ave. After the square go Bleeker and Thompson St.to the Thompson Chess Store. There are 2 stores on that block. Where did u live in Canada? I lived in Toronto for a little over a year in 1946. Good luck and good health on your trip. Enjoy. Best regards, Bernie
