Well, when I let 2 computers play a game between each other, the pondering is always on. And it doesn't slow down the machine if the hashtables aren't very big. I don't believe that the size of hashtables will affect the quality of play so much. Is the greater size of hashtables the only plus of using 2 different machines, when playing these games?
