Hello, another tablebase question. Just got my copy of Hiarcs 7.32 yesterday, and I generated the 4-piece Nalimov tablebases for it. I already had the 4-man tablebases for use with Crafty, so I probably could have just copied them, but I wasn't sure if it would work. The "normal" tablebase files I use with Crafty have names like kqkr.nbb.emd, while the ones for use with Hiarcs 7.32 omit the first dot in the name, e.g. kqkrnbb.emd. Easy enough to rename if the files are in fact identical (of course it would have been nice to be able to use the same tablebase files for both programs). There are also .tbs files in the 7.32 generated directory, like knkn.tbs. Not sure if this is just a seed file of some sort that isn't really needed, or what. Anybody know the details on this?
