Easy enough to rename if the files are in fact identical (of >course it would have been nice to be able to use the same tablebase files for >both programs). There are also .tbs files in the 7.32 generated directory, like >knkn.tbs. Not sure if this is just a seed file of some sort that isn't really >needed, or what. Anybody know the details on this? Hello Pete, If you are using the compressed tablebases with crafty then they are the same as the ones on the Hiarcs CD and are interchangeable. In fact you don't need two copies of the TB's. You only need to tell both programs where the TB's are located(Path). There was no need to generate them since you already had them on the disk and also with Crafty. It's much faster to copy them from Dr. Hyatt's site than to generate the ones you don't have. Jim Walker
