I equate chess with boxing, not two sloths wrestling. As I posted before, even Hiarcs 7.32 makes some horrible moves in positions that involve pawn races. The post is still on the board a ways down. There is no way any program is going to make a definitive assessment from the current position. Deeper Blue maybe, but nothing else. All programs assess the game pretty close to even, which realistically means both sides have chances, and a draw is likely. The programs fail to correctly assess positions that take a GM a few seconds, yet teams of human GMs have been looking at some of the likely endgames and pawn races for well over a week, and the best they can say is "unclear".
