I have been working (in my spare time, which is not much) at getting Arasan up under Linux. I have been using egcs for a while (which is getting merged into gcc) and it seems to work fine. Mostly I am doing this because of great frustration with Visual C++, which has serious optimizer bugs (even with the latest patches installed). My code is C++, not C, and is more than a little complex. I have had to spend way too much time on workarounds and pragmas to get it all to compile and run correctly. --Jon
