Nope, but it can't add any positions to the transposition table. So it will have to do more work, because each new position -after filling up hash tables- that will pop up through another variant will not be recognized as "position already seen and evaluated" and will be calculated again. ____________________ jimvandorp@wxs.nl http://zip.to/jeroen ICQ#45740870
