Some of the arrays in the 'stock' crafty are too small to build an opening book with certain combinations of options. Try the one on my ftp site, if you have any sort of NT machine. INTEL Win NT/95/98 binary which can build stupidly large opening books: ftp://38.168.214.175/pub/Crafty1.exe
