I do that sort of weirdness for two reasons: 0. Gather statistics about my collection of PGN 1. Create an opening book that makes crafty play like people (everything is in the opening book including every stupid mistake and overlooked tactical boo-boo). Of course, the opening book itself will be over one gigabyte at times. Kind of annoying for most people, I suspect. [snip]
