You guys really kill me with this faster than tournament time control business. I mean the game was 40\90 minutes which is only a half hour shorter than normal as if karpov is going to play 100 elo pts stronger or something. If a player cannot come up with and execute a reasonable plan in 40\90 what makes you think he would do it with a mere extra 30 minutes. Hyaat says this same thing as yourself , which i think is completely unreasonable.
