I would prefer to have a random system as opposed to a set system. Otherwise, I will have to go from personality to personality to get a different depth. It would be nice to just play a "1800" personality and sometimes it play 6 moves in book and sometimes 10. And, it could "forget", just like a human, and play some slightly inferior move on move 4 and give me an opportunity to play a game with an opening advantage. Since I got so few replies to this thread, I assume that this is currently a pipe dream. I wonder why none of the commercial guys didn't implement this type of idea. I guess they are more interested in creating the perfect player than the perfect player for each individual. KarinsDad :)
