Liam,

You would be very pleased with the play and battery life (2-3 times longer than
the Sapphire)of the TC-2100 or it's latest incarnation as the Cosmos. It is
probably the best value in terms of strength per dollar of all the other
portables available. It is slightly larger than the others, but that translates
into a larger board and pieces which are a plus in my opinion. It is not as
strong as the Sapphire in the middlegame/endgame transition or the endgame due
to lack of RAM/Hashtables.
