Today Rebel will play its third game in the Monthly GM Challenge cycle. The Monthly GM Challenge is about real tournament games, the area a grandmaster has the best chances to beat a computer. Start of the match on 16:00 Amsterdam time (10:00 New York time). Prize money: $500 if the grandmaster wins against REBEL. $250 for a draw. No prize money in case of a loss against REBEL. Hardware & Software REBEL Program: Rebel Century Opening book: as used in the World Championship in Paderborn. PC: AMD K6-III 600 Mhz, 128Mb.
