Subject: 'Los Alamos' playing program (& other variants?)

Author: Jari Huikari

Los Alamos is chess variant played on 6x6 board. Without bishops, castlings,
en passants and long pawn moves.

I wrote a program playing this variant. (Side work of Nero 5, curiosity)

It can be downloaded from:
http://www.math.jyu.fi/~huikari/ALAMOS.ZIP (DOS, freeware)

BTW: I could easily write other variants too, with any(*) board size, if
they include ordinary chess pieces and not many special rules. Write me,
if you think you'd have suitable interesting ideas.

(* preferably board size of 3..12 files, 3..9 ranks)
