See analysis at: > >http://www.gmchess.spb.ru/english/kasworld/sici54.html The match Kasparov vs. The World is arriving at a very exciting position, where the endgame seems go towards a draw. In fact other program Nimzo 2000 found also 32 ... e6! about ten days week ago, as I posted in the forum of 'World' analysts after move 26 of black. I repeat my analysis here: " Black is not lost at all!! Refutation of Russian GM School and Spiriev main line. Main line: 27 Qf7 Be5 28 h4 b5 29 h5 Qc4 30 Qf8 b4 31 h6 b3 32 Qf5+ Here the analysis I have seen offer two losing options for black: A) 32 .... Kc7 (losing inmediately after h7-b2-Bf4) and B) 32 .... Qe6 (leading to a better endgame for white) I am surprised that nobody has analyzed the following move, leading to a drawish position: C) 32 .... e6!!, and now I don’t find anything better for white than: 33 Qf7+ Kc8 34 h7 b2 and the lines arising from here are not wining for white. For instance: C1) 35 Re1 Qc1 36 h8 Bh8 37 Qe6+ Kc7 38 Qf7+ Kc8 39 Qe8+ Kc7 40 Bf4 with equality. Or C2) 35 Qg6 Kc7 and now C21) 36 Rd1 Qc1 37 Qd3 Nd4 38 Bf4 Qf4 39 h8 Bh8 40 Qh7 Kb6 41 Qh8 and the black is slightly better. Or C22) 36 Rb1 Qc1+ 37 Kh2 Bh8 38 Qe4 Kd7!! (A difficult but excellent move for black) 39 Bf4 d5 40 Bc1 bc1Q and now, C221) 41 Qd5+ ed5 42 Rc1 Ne5 43 Rc5 Ng4+ (Black a bit better) C222) 41 Rc1 de4 42 Re1 Ne7 or 42 Rb1 Ke7 43 Rb7 Kf6 and white can not win the endgame. BTW. I do not want to give myself merits that I don’t deserve. The refutation 32 .... e6 has been found by the programme Nimzo 2000, and confirmed with the help of Fritz 5.32, Hiarcs 7.32 , Cmaster 6000 and Rebel 10. ;-) Tom. " Regards, Tomas Casanovas
