Patzer is at the moment an private engine. This is compared with Ferret. OK
Ferret is much stronger I think, but Patzer play with over 2400 ELO. Many
programs are privat or in development, see Francesca, Stobor, Voyager and more.

An very litte group of person make many tests with this programs. See the
winboard tournaments from Chistian Koch, Kai Skibbe and me. I think this in
interesting when peoble see the results. In the moment Kai, Christian and I play
an big winboard tournament with 1000 games, longer time control with this
private engines and other free engines. I will put later the games and results
of the website from Volker and me. I have the agreement from all programmer.
Please wait 2 weeks.

Engines ...
Crafty, Zarkov, LambChop, Voyager, Bringer, Comet, Patzer, Francesca, AnMon,
Phalanx, Gromit, LGoliath !

So the programmer have not a time to look all results in the free time. This
problem for all programmer but I think private is private, free is great and
more programs is better :-))

Hm ...
You`ll get or become addicted to that free engines. In the moment I play
testgames with DChess :-) (I hope this english is correct)

It is nice when I see that many programmer give your "baby" for free, see the
new program DChess from Dave Wyatt. In the moment I play with DChess :-))

Thank“s for your interest on Patzer, Roland Pfister make an good working (and
other) and see this entry.

Kind regards
Frank
